            Gridins Group companies have started ship repairs activity in Klaipeda port of Baltic Sea from 2002, today are experienced enough to carry out complex ship repairs, conversions and various steel structure production projects. Today Gridins Group permanently employs over 700 professional workers to the ship building and repair sector. Company has also mastered and executing piping system production and assembly work.

Company offers following works to be carried out and services provided:

  • - Dry-docking and alongside repairs;
  • - Maintenance and general repairs;
  • - Engine and other machinery repairs;
  • - Electrical repairs;
  • - Grit blasting and painting of hull, cargo holds, tanks;
  • - Steel works;
  • - Pipe works;
  • - Insulation works;
  • - Tail shaft and rudder repairs;

            Company is repairing 30-40 vessels annually in Baltic Sea port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Black sea ports of Odessa, Sevastopol and Kerch (Ukraine) in docking and alongside repairs. Docking of vessels 4 floating docks with lifting capacity from 1500 up to 29300 tons, including cleaning, blasting and painting of underwater hull, repair of rudder propeller unit (including controllable-pitch propeller and  pitch control mechanism), repair and renewal of sea valves.

JSC "MIK Shipyard" offers a full range of services in the field of repairs, maintenance, conversion, modernization and docking of all types of vessels up to Panamax size, up to 60000 tons DWT and up 100 000 tons DWT for carrying-out repairs afloat.

Ilyichevsk shiprepair yard being the largest dockside of Ukraine has large technical facilities for repair of all types of vessels, and also for shipbuilding of undersize fleet, docks, floatable landing stages. The factory encloses in it's structure 3 docks capable to dock the vessels
