JSC "Klaipeda NDT center" is one of the Gridin's Group companies. The company, situated in Klaipeda, Lithuania, is involved in ultrasonic thickness measurements, condition evaluation of ships and steel structures, as well as inspections all over the world. Also, the company provides repair recommendations and consultations for ships and steel structures.
"JSC "Klaipeda NDT center" is approved by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyd's Register (LR), Bureau Veritas (BV), Germanisher Lloyd (GL), Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS), Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) and Amerikan Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Classification societies for ultrasonic thickness measurements works on ships regardless of their size & type. The company as well has Lloyd's Register (LR) and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) Classification society's certificates for close up survey assistance to Class surveyors using Rope Access."

General experience in Inspection works:
NKC Currently holding the following valid approval certificates issued by: ABS, LR, DNV, GL, BV, RINA, RMRS. NKC implemented and run QMS system identical to ISO 9001:2000 as condition for approval gained by Classification Societies. Our partner within Gridins Group "Gridins Enterprise", who provides us IRATA qualified and certified operators is holding ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued by Lloyd's Register.
Inspection Team is build up upon a task, specified by the customer and may be as follows:
a) UTM Lev II + IRATA Lev 2 or 3 inspectors;
b) UTM Lev II supervisor;
c) DPI / MPI Lev 2;
d) Inspection Engineer;
e) IRATA Lev 2-3 work assistants (Insulation, painting, minor repair works);
Our specialization is wide range of automatic and manual inspections on metal structures (Marine & Industry) using Ultrasonic Technique & Equipment and qualified personnel, made according to any applicable standards (ISO, EN, ASME).
Daly work coordinated from residence office in Klaipeda, site project managers are reporting to the office on daily basis. Key project coordination personnel CV's may be provided upon request.
The following techniques are used:
- P-scan for weld inspection;
- T-scan for corrosion mapping;
- Through Transmission for composite testing;
- TOFD for detection and sizing;
- Full A-scan recording for off-line processing;
- UTM of steel structures to determine residual thickness;
- UT Flaw Detection of welds;
- DPI - PENETRANT TESTING;
- MPI - Magnetic particles inspection.
